Anna Danesi and Vero Volleyball are moving forward together: the Brescia-born central will wear the colors of Milan also in the 2026/2027 season. Contract extension for the number 11 meneghina, who signed the renewal until the end of the next sporting year. The adventure between Anna Danesi and the club of President Marzari began in 2019, when the player arrived in the then Vero Volley Monza, a team to which she remained linked for three years. During the three-year Rosablu period Danesi is the protagonist of the CEV Cup victory in 2020/21 and the first historic Scudetto final in 2021/22, before moving to Novara the following year. In 2024/25, the return to Milan, with which she took part in the World Club Championships, finishing the competition in third place, the same placement achieved in the CEV Champions League.

The Italian national team captain is thus preparing to experience her third consecutive season with the Numia jersey, her sixth overall in the ranks of Vero Volleyball. In the current sporting year Danesi has so far collected 223 points – of these 77 are walls – between Tigotà Serie A1 and CEV Champions League.

“I am very happy to continue with Milan – comments Anna Danesi – Next will be my sixth season overall at Vero Volley. The city of Monza has become home for me: my fiancé is here and my life outside volleyball I will live here. I am very comfortable with this club and so it was easy for me to decide to extend my contract for another year. I have confidence in the project that is being built for the coming season: this year we managed to win the first national trophy with the club and I hope that next season will bring as much satisfaction”.
