Double Malen, but it’s not enough: Napoli comes back twice against Roma

Donyell Malen continued to light up Roma&#8217s winter, but it wasn&#8217t enough to defeat Napoli. At the Maradona Stadium, the very intense challenge between the first championship chasers of Inter and Milan ended 2-2, with the Giallorossi twice taking the lead thanks to the Dutchman&#8217s double. However, the reigning Italian champions managed to equalize in both cases, first with former Leonardo Spinazzola and then with new signing Alisson Santos. In this way, the Azzurri retain a 3-point lead over Gian Piero Gasperini&#8217s team, now fourth at +1 over Juventus.

"Scandal” for Caterina Balivo: there's an uncle” … interista
The presenter, super supporter of Napoli, told that in the family there's a black sheep. Indeed, nerazzurra.
He did so in a recent interview granted to the 'Gazzetta dello Sport'. "A scandal" she smiled.
Tons of concepts expressed by the good (and beautiful) Campanian conductor.
"Napoli is experienced as a true faith by those born and raised in the city".
His first times at the stadium go back to'childhood, in the Maradona period.
"There'was also Naldi’s Napoli in Serie B and failure. And I was there'I was"
"Then the slow rise with De Laurentiis from Serie C. And there'I was also there".
In the last three years Napoli has won two championships.

"Winning two titles in three years is something huge".

"Conte’s reappointment was the best news of the'year".
"Soccer looks like life: there are ups, downs, falls and restarts".
"When you are on a high you must rejoice without forgetting that nothing lasts forever".

Malen, Roma’s extra man since his arrival in the capital during the January market, confirms his exceptional form already at 7′. He is precisely the ideal terminal for Zaragoza’s restart, good at taking advantage of a lightness of Spinazzola to sprint over Buongiorno and serve to his Dutch partner the ball of the Giallorossi’s immediate lead. Cold-shot Napoli did not let itself be emotionally knocked down and went back on the attack with Hojlund and the highly anticipated Vergara. Gasperini’s rearguard, however, keeps a good watch.

Even Malen could double before even 20′ but instead in goal goes the’former Spinazzola. The Napoli lateral receives from Elmas, tries from distance in the 40′ and, thanks in part to a deflection by Pisilli, mocks Svilar. Even in the opening of the second half he came close to a personal double, which, however, came from the other side of the field. In fact, at 68′ Rrahmani was forced to break down on Wesley, who had penetrated the Naples area after a very fast restart. The penalty was inevitable, which Malen himself converted at 71′ leaving Milinkovic-Savic no chance.

Twenty minutes remained, which Roma faced with an “light attack” composed of Vaz, Soulé and a particularly inspired Venturino. It was precisely the former Genoa man who managed to scare Napoli again in the final minutes of the game, but they found a way to even the score again. And it does just that with one of its very young protagonists.

This is Alisson Santos, who at 82’82’ receives from Giovane, controls with his left, finishes with his right and finds his first career goal in a Napoli jersey. It is the final equalizer, a result that does not do particularly well for the standings of either side on the pitch. But the biggest regrets, probably, are Roma’s own.
