Ruben Loftus-Cheek operated after injury scare, AC Milan bulletin

A new medical bulletin has arrived on the condition of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, the AC Milan midfielder who suffered a major facial trauma on Sunday that resulted in a fracture of the alveolar process of the jaw during the match he lost against Parma.

The English soccer player was admitted to the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Clinic at ASST Santi Paolo e Carlo, where he underwent surgery on Monday by Dr. Luca Autelitano. The operation to reduce and stabilize the fracture was perfectly successful. Ruben is doing well and has already been discharged.

The estimated recovery time is about eight weeks. His season is therefore almost over. “It was a hard blow, but the worst is
behind him”, commented the person concerned on Instagram, also posting a couple of photos to show how his mouth is reduced, missing several teeth.
