Juventus market, Weston McKennie has earned a (rich) renewal

2030 is the year chosen by the Juventus to armor its staples. After Kenan Yildiz, Weston McKennie is also ready to tie up with the club until that date: the signing is expected in the next few days, upon return from the away match at the Olimpico. Despite the interest of MLS, Premier League and Bundesliga, the American has chosen Turin and the technical project initiated by Luciano Spalletti, who considers him a key element for his dynamic and modern soccer. A total joker, McKennie to the sound of goals has become an indispensable pawn in the Bianconeri chessboard.

With the renewal, McKennie will also make a jump in salary: he will receive about 4 million euros per season (something more) until 2030. It is an adjustment that brings him closer to the mid-to-high end of the locker room and confirms the club’s willingness to bet on him in the long run. After criticizing, heavily, his beloved Juventus in the post-match with Galatasaray, Ezio Greggio meanwhile returned to talk, again via social media, after the heavy home defeat against Como.

“In Juventus, after the farcical match against Inter, self-esteem collapsed. Another defeat. Without Bremer at the back we are more vulnerable, Di Gregorio is not meeting expectations. Zero strikers. With Koopmeiners and Openda on the field we play 9. Spalletti cannot work miracles with a team in which, yes and no, 30% of the players are really from Juve. Everything has to be rebuilt, starting from the top, very high up: we need an ownership that loves soccer, managers who really know Italian soccer, who speak our language and have solid experience in our league, all the way to players who are really from Juventus.”

“There are large groups with huge financial means that could make #Juve great again, perhaps by bringing back a former Juventus legend to the top of the structure. Anyway #FORZAJUVE #UntilTheFinish… which at this rate is getting closer and closer. Luciano, help,” Ezio Greggio’s two words.

This is certainly not the first time Ezio Greggio has used a heavy hand to criticize the Bianconeri team. This time he went even more direct, confirming how his patience and, probably, that of many fans, has really reached almost the limit.
