Whoever passes the round between Roma and Bologna (at least there is the certainty of having an Italian in the quarters) will face one of Lille or Aston Villa in the quarterfinals. The two Italian clubs have been drawn in the right side of the scoreboard: in a possible semifinal, either Giallorossi or RossoblĂą could take on Porto or Nottingham Forest, which, if they meet the odds, should challenge each other in the quarters.

Europa League, the round of 16:

Celta (SPA)-Lyon (FRA)
Stuttgart (GER)-Porto (POR)
Nottingham Forest (ING)-Midtjylland (DAN)
BOLOGNA (ITA)-ROMA (ITA)
Lille (FRA)-Aston Villa (ING)

“Roma is a great team, as a footballer I had made a Milan-Juve Champions final. Playing in Europe against an Italian side has a different flavor, we would have preferred to avoid it” admitted Marco Di Vaio, sporting director of Bologna, to the microphones of Sky Sport.
