Pesaro, first shot is a guard from Puglia
Visconti arrives
Carpegna Prosciutto Basket Pesaro announced that it has signed a two-year agreement with Riccardo Visconti. A guard born in 1998, he began his basketball career in the youth of Kolbe Torino and then moved on to Libertas Amici San Mauro Basket and Don Bosco Crocetta.
Later, a move to Reyer Venezia awaits him, with whom he makes his debut in the top league in 2015. With the Under 18 team of the Veneti in 2015/2016 he won the national title. In 2017/2018 he is transferred on loan in Serie A2 to Verona while in the following two seasons he is always engaged in the second championship but with the jersey of Mantua. In summer 2020 he returns to Serie A signing a two-year contract with Happy Casa Brindisi.
Visconti also boasts medals won with the youth selections of the Italian national team: in his palmarès we find the bronze obtained in 2016 in Turkey at the Under 18 European Championship and the silver in 2017 in Egypt at the Under 19 World Championship.
The class of ’98 told about his emotions for this new beginning: “I am very happy and proud of the call from Coach Repesa and the club. I am ready to put myself on the line and give everything for a historic club like VL!”
