Mario Suarez’s Italian adventure ends after only six months. The Spanish midfielder, whom Fiorentina had signed in the summer from Atletico Madrid in exchange for Stefan Savic, lands in the Premier League to wear the shirt of Watford.
The English club owned by the Pozzo family will pay the Viola 5.5 million, while the player, who had announced the conclusion of the deal with a tweet even before the two clubs made it official, signed a 4-year contract.
For Suarez, only 8 appearances in A and 1 goal, against Frosinone, for an unhappy adventure also for tactical reasons, as explained by Paulo Sousa.
