Sousa: "Market? The company explain"

Agitated hours in the Fiorentina household. While the Mammana telenovela continues to give twists and turns, and now the Argentine central player seems to be back within a step of wearing the purple jersey, on the eve of the match against Genoa Paulo Sousa comes out of the closet talking about the market.
“There has been talk since August about the arrival of a defender. . It is the club that has to evaluate its work and give explanations. My job is to make the right people understand what we need to compete at certain levels.”
Clear words, however, that do not erase the Portuguese coach’s desire to dream big: “It is right to continue doing so. The project that was asked of me did not immediately aim for the stars, but I will do everything to push until I reach them.”

Closing with a farewell to Mario Suarez and a hint of mea culpa: “His problem was adaptation. I was not able to introduce him into our system of play, after he had played in another form for so many years.”
