Fiorentina Transfer Market: Eyes Turn to Juventus

Fiorentina is taking flight. Filip Kostic is the kind of player who can bring experience, quality, and depth to the wings in Fabio Grosso’s 4-3-3 formation. In his final season with Juventus, although Luciano Spalletti seemed to appreciate him, he saw little playing time, racking up just 527 minutes in total, but he still managed to make his mark with three goals and one assist.
The main obstacle to a potential transfer could be his salary. While at Juventus, the Serbian earned approximately 2.5 million euros per season, a figure that would inevitably have to be reduced at Fiorentina. However, there is no shortage of suitors for the player: in addition to newly promoted Venezia, there is also interest from Al Qadsiah, a Saudi club capable of putting a significantly more lucrative financial offer on the table.
This isn’t the first time Kostic’s path has crossed with Fiorentina’s. Back in the summer of 2024, the Serbian winger was very close to a move to Fiorentina before the deal suddenly fell through. At that time, the parties were discussing his move to Florence as part of a broader deal with Juventus that also involved Arthur, while Fiorentina was resisting Juventus’s advances for Nico Gonzalez. In the end, none of the moves between the two clubs went through, and Kostic remained in Turin for another season.
However, the 2024–25 season turned out to be the last in a Juventus jersey for the player born in 1992. Juventus, grappling with its failure to qualify for the Champions League and the need to reduce its payroll, has placed him on the list of players set to leave, with reported suitors in Greece, Portugal, and Turkey.
