Inter Transfer Market: Carlos Augusto Steals the Spotlight—There’s No Shortage of Offers

Carlos Augusto stole the show in Madrid, and thanks to the goal he scored yesterday, he has inevitably caught the attention of European clubs, which have been keeping a close eye on him for some time. The Brazilian is one of the players with whom Inter intends to discuss a contract extension, with a meeting with his representatives already scheduled for the coming days. The winger is currently under contract with the Nerazzurri through 2028.
The Carlos Augusto case—who arrived in Italy at Monza thanks to the foresight of Adriano Galliani and his staff—is among the issues awaiting Dario Baccin following the handover from Piero Ausilio. The new sporting director’s agenda also includes a meeting with the representatives of Manuel Akanji, who is also under contract through 2028.
The priority, however, remains Federico Dimarco. Inter used their trip to Madrid as an opportunity to meet with the Italian international’s entourage and begin discussing a new contract. Dimarco’s contract expires in 2027, and the club has an option to extend it for another season under the same financial terms.
