Scott McTominay Sets His Sights on Frosinone

Scott McTominay underwent surgery after developing a mild, benign arrhythmia. The procedure, performed at Spire Hospital in Manchester, was a complete success, and the midfielder for the Scottish national team and Napoli will now need to rest before he can return to training.
The estimated recovery time is about two weeks, in line with what the Neapolitan club announced earlier this month. If his recovery proceeds smoothly, McTominay could be available again after the international break, sometime in October.
Allegri and the rest of the team are looking forward to his return, although it is still too early to determine whether he will be available when the league resumes. Napoli, following the long international break, will return to the field on October 10 against Frosinone, and only in the coming days will it be clear whether McTominay will recover in time.
Napoli confirmed the successful outcome of the procedure in an official statement, explaining that McTominay underwent the ablation procedure in Manchester as scheduled and will rest for about two weeks before resuming training.
