WrestleMania, The Miz ready for John Cena

WrestleMania XXXIII is approaching and The Miz can’t wait to step into the ring in Orlando, six years after the historic main event in Atlanta in which he beat John Cena, confirming himself WWE Champion.
On April 2, 2017, the 36-year-old from Parma (Ohio) could find the same opponent on the road again as back then, and he doesn’t mind the idea, as confirmed to Sportal.it: “It would be great to beat him again, in the most spectacular edition ever, with all the wrestlers engaged in the same event after the roster split. What happened on SmackDown? Simple, he eliminated me in the match with a title wrestling chance at stake, and I then did the same thing…”.
There are also those who speculated about a match against Daniel Bryan: “I don’t think he’ll be back after saying no more because of injuries. His wrestling days are over. I would always rather wrestle in the main event than against him anyway. I would still like to graduate to overall champion, that’s always my goal. I’m an underdog, I come from a reality TV show and I’ve been good at advancing, becoming who I am, also thanks to those who hated me.”
“My WrestleMania moment? It’s related to the Ultimate Warrior and his run to the ring. I remember seeing him when I was still in school, running around the house bothering my mom. He was always my favorite wrestler,” he recalls.
The Miz is currently on the SmackDown roster, which he says “is better than Raw. There are so many great wrestlers like Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler, as well as AJ Styles who in just one year has become a spectacular main eventer. It seems like he’s been here forever. If I were to come back to Raw in the future anyway I would be happy, also because there would be no Daniel Bryan as general manager…”.
In the meantime, he partners in life but also in the ring with his wife Maryse: “She is the most beautiful woman in the world, she makes me work hard by motivating me every day and I do the same with her.”
He concludes about the future: “I don’t know if I will become a part timer one day, we will see what WWE has planned for me. I want to be remembered as the best, like Ric Flair who even today when he appears in the ring is greeted with his ‘wooo’ by all the fans.”
