Turns back behind the wheel of a racing car after a long break, which lasts since last September, the Reggellese Tiberio Bettini, engaged this weekend in the “home” race, the eleventh Rally of Reggello – City of Florence, valid for the Italian Cup and the Aci Sport Tuscan Regional Championship. Holder of the Moto Club Spark Reggello, Bettini will again have at his disposal the Renault Clio S1600, of Pool Racing, the same car and the same team as in 2017, on which he will be joined by a new co-driver, the Pisan Marco Lupi, who boasts important experience.

For Bettini there will be a double objective, on his home roads: that of redemption after the misfortune suffered in the last edition, when he retired due to technical problems, as well as that of excelling among the two-wheel drive cars, in a challenge that promises to be compelling. “Finally the engine is turned on again,” comments Bettini, “after nine months we are back to savor the taste of challenges. Challenges that this year will certainly be more drawn, given the plateau of starters we have in Reggello. It will be a spectacular race, in which we will seek, with my new co-driver Marco Lupi, the tops among two-wheel drive cars, as well as, personally, redemption from last year’s retirement. However, I think it will also be a difficult challenge, given the value of the opponents and also considering the fact that I have been stationary for a long time. But we will try,” are the words reported by Italpress.
