Russia is off to a great start in the World Cup played at home.

In the opening match of the rainbow tournament, valid for round A, at the Luzhniki stadium, Cherchesov’s selection overwhelmed a mediocre Saudi Arabia with a dry 5-0 victory: in the first half Gazinski opened the scoring with a header at 21′, and Cheyshev, who had recently entered due to Dzagoev’s injury, doubled before halftime. In the resumption Dzyuba secured the result, then at the expiration a feat by Cheryshev and an excellent spot kick by Golovin closed the accounts.

Convincing performance for Juve’s goal, who in addition to the goal on a free kick signed two assists. Friday at 2 p.m. on the pitch for the same group Egypt-Uruguay.
