Alex Crivillé bluntly on Pecco Bagnaia
For Crivillé, Bagnaia can still move up in the rankings
Alex Crivillé doesn’t seem to have any doubts: Pecco Bagnaia took a big weight off his shoulders by winning at Assen, and he has all the makings of a strong second half of the season in MotoGp.
These are the words that the former Spanish rider entrusted to ‘Marca’: “Bagnaia did a great race, he dominated from the beginning and until the end without giving any chance to his opponents. The fight for the title remains difficult for him, because with four seasonal ‘zeros’ he is 66 points behind Fabio Quartararo. But the important thing is that he is aware that he has a very strong Ducati, ready to win more races after the summer break.”
“Realistically, his goal will have to be to close the year with a positive balance, in my opinion the title will go to Fabio Quartararo or Aleix Espargaró,” added Crivillé, “but I am sure that Pecco Bagnaia will cause a lot of headaches for the others in the second half of the season.
