Marc Marquez thunders, “No one can tell me this.”
Honda centaur Marc Marquez: “I don’t know if I can recover, but I hope to leave the image of a champion who gave everything.”
Marc Marquez more motivated than ever after his fourth arm surgery. In an interview with Gp Racing, the Honda rider explained that he will do everything to recover quickly and get on a motorcycle, despite the obvious risks: “I hope to leave the image of a champion who gave everything for his sport. I don’t know if I will be successful until the end, but no one can tell me that I didn’t give it my all.”
“Until 2019 what kept me alive was the will to win. Despite the falls and injuries, aiming for victory motivated me. Now, however, to motivation is this: to find solutions to fight again for the podium and victory, to try to get another title. Because I feel, in my heart, that this goal is achievable,” continued the Honda rider.
The risk is manageable: “It’s worth going through what I’m going through. Of course, I take a lot of risks, but that’s how I won eight world titles.”
