Valentino Rossi challenges the son of a former F1 champion
Lorenzo Patrese at Misano
Tresor by Car Collection has announced a line-up change for the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Sprint Cup round scheduled at Misano World Circuit from tomorrow, Friday, July 1, to Sunday, July 3.
Following a slight cold, Luca Ghiotto underwent a swab as a precautionary measure and tested positive for Covid-19, despite presenting mild symptoms. Having noted with regret the Padua driver’s inability to take part in the race, Team Principal Ferdinando Geri has decided to entrust the steering wheel to Lorenzo Patrese, who will share the cockpit with Mattia Drudi in the #12 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo for this event.
This choice will allow Patrese to make his debut in the PRO category alongside a great driver like Drudi, enhancing the preparation and growth work dedicated to young drivers that Tresor by Car Collection undertook at the beginning of this season. Seventeen years old next August, son of former F1 driver Riccardo, Patrese is in fact in his debut season in GT3 and during the first rounds of the Endurance series, in which he defends the colors of Tresor by Car Collection, he has already demonstrated his talent.
