Charles Leclerc ready to challenge Max Verstappen
Charles Leclerc’s words
Charles Leclerc looks beyond the times achieved in Friday’s free practice at Silverstone.
“We didn’t run much in the first session except for a few laps in wet conditions to gather some data in case we have similar conditions tomorrow in qualifying. When the rain stopped falling we fitted a set of Softs but could not complete a single lap because of a red flag.”
“The second session was better, I had good feelings from the car so I can say I am optimistic at the level of competitiveness. Looking ahead to tomorrow it will be a matter of putting together all the work from today and maximizing the result,” added the Monegasque driver.
