Italrugby, third success in a row in Bucharest
Romania-Italy 13-45
Italy scores its third consecutive international success after Cardiff and Lisbon by going to conquer Bucharest’s Arcul de Triumf.
In the stadium where, in 2004, John Kirwan’s Azzurri slipped 25-24, Kieran Crowley’s Azzurri expelled the Romanian capital for the third time in nearly ninety years of direct clashes between the two national teams with a 13-45 victory that constitutes the success by the second widest margin ever recorded by Italy in the forty-three previous meetings with the Balkan XV.
Next Sunday, in Batumi, the third and final fixture of the summer tour against Georgia.
