Cristiano Ronaldo asks for a transfer: interested in an Italian club, not Roma
The Portuguese striker has decided to leave Manchester United.
Cristiano Ronaldo away from Manchester United after just one season. The Portuguese striker, who hastily returned to England last summer after an abrupt farewell to Juventus, was disappointed with his season in the Red Devils and has decided to leave after just 12 months.
According to reports in The Times, CR7 has reportedly asked English club officials for a transfer, and is now looking for a club that can play in the next Champions League.
According to the English tabloids, the player’s entourage is sounding out all the big names in the Old Continent’s major leagues: among the clubs that might be interested are Bayern Munich, Chelsea and surprisingly even Napoli, which will play in the Champions League next season. Excluded instead are Roma, which does not play in Europe’s top competition.
