Not just Valentino Rossi: Dani Pedrosa furious in Misano
It has not been a happy weekend so far for the two former MotoGp champions
Misano bitter not only for Valentino Rossi, but also for former MotoGp colleague Dani Pedrosa. If the Doctor retired midway through Race 1 of the Fanatec World Challenge Europe due to a contact that occurred while he was returning to the pits for a pit stop, worse went to the Spanish rider, who had to withdraw from the Lamborghini trophy without being able to complete a single lap.
The former Honda centaur on Sunday morning was involved in an accident at the first corner, which was impossible to avoid, and had to raise the white flag. “I didn’t even complete a single lap! On Saturday my partner Antonin Borga retired before handing over the wheel to me. Now I ended up out in the first corner. I basically didn’t race and not because of me. I didn’t even do one lap!” he told Corsedimoto dejectedly.
Valentino Rossi will return to the track in the afternoon for race 2 of the WEC
