Tour de France: Groenewegen wins in Sonderberg, Van Aert still second
The Danish phase of the 2022 Tour comes to a close
The Tour de France 2022 says goodbye to Denmark with the winning sprint of Dylan Groenewegen, a Dutch rider from Team BikeExchange-Jayco: he prevailed in the final sprint of the stage that took the caravan from Vejle to Sonderborg (182 km).
Second, however, is Wout Van Aert: the Belgian of Jumbo-Visma retains the yellow jersey he won on Saturday, although he chews bitterly for ending up on the place of honor for the third consecutive time. Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin-Deceuninck) closes the day’s podium, finishing ahead of veteran Peter Sagan (TotalEnergies).
Now the Grande Boucle moves to France: Monday rest day, Tuesday stage in the north of the country, from Dunkirk to Calais (171.5 km).
