Charles Leclerc again rejected by Formula 1

Here comes a new rejection for Charles Leclerc: the Monegasque has been listed among the ‘losers’ in the special report card published on the Formula 1 website. “Leclerc has always achieved good results at Silverstone and it would have been nice if he had managed to win. He fought with great grit but something went wrong. He got a good fourth place, but in the last five Grands Prix he never managed to get on the podium.”

Promoted, of course, Carlos Sainz: “A beautiful and well-deserved win for the Spaniard, who defended great on Max Verstappen. It was Sainz’s sixth podium finish of the season, compared to teammate Charles Leclerc’s four, and he is now ahead of George Russell in fourth place in the standings.”

Thumbs up also for Sergio Perez, Lewis Hamilton, Mick Schumacher, Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel. Failed (besides Leclerc) Alfa Romeo, Williams, George Russell and Max Verstappen.
