“I’m excited to play in Venice.”

Now it’s official. Jayson Granger is a new player for Reyer Venezia. Complete with a statement, the lagoon club welcomed the new point guard. Last year he played in Spain, wearing the Baskonia Vitoria jersey.

“Umana Reyer is pleased to announce that Jayson Granger will be part of the 2022/23 men’s first team roster. In fact, the Orogranata club announces with satisfaction the reaching of the agreement with the 188-cm playmaker, born in Montevideo on September 15, 1989 and in possession of dual passport, Uruguayan and Italian,” some words of the statement.

There are also his first words as a new Reyer player: “I am excited to play in Venice. I have had nothing but great feedback about the organization of the club. My national teammate Esteban Batista described to me the reality of the club and the City, and I am happy to take another step forward in my career. I am very motivated to help the team achieve new goals.”
