Origi, Milan’s attacking coup is official

AC Milan has announced that it has signed footballer Divock Origi. The Belgian striker has signed a contract with the Rossoneri club until June 30, 2026.

Origi, born in Ostend (Belgium) on April 18, 1995, grew up in the Youth Sectors of Genk and Lille, debuting in the First Team with the French club in 2013. After 89 games and 16 goals with Lille he moved to Liverpool and in his first two seasons with the Reds scored 21 goals in 77 appearances, before moving on loan to Wolfsburg with whom he scored 7 goals in 36 games. In 2018 he returned to Liverpool with whom he made another 98 appearances and scored 20 goals, winning 1 Premier League, 1 FA Cup, 1 League Cup, 1 Champions League, 1 European Super Cup and 1 World Club Championship.

Origi made his national team debut in 2014 and boasts 32 appearances and 3 goals with Belgium, for which he became the youngest scorer at a World Cup in the 2014 edition.
