Eurobasket Roma, here is Pilot’s replacement for the bench
It’s a comeback for Crosariol
Eurobasket Roma has announced that it has appointed Andrea Crosariol as head coach of the first team for the 2022/23 season.
Having closed a career as a player that saw him tread important stages in the Euroleague and with the national team jersey, the 37-year-old Andrea began his coaching career right with Eurobasket Roma, serving for two seasons as an assistant. After taking over the leadership of the team temporarily for two games (a win and a 1-point loss) during the last championship, he was promoted to the role of the team’s head coach for the next sporting year.
The new coach of the Roman team recounted his emotions, “I am happy to continue my adventure with this company, highly motivated to take up the challenge of this role, in an environment to which I have been very attached in the previous two seasons. I am grateful to the Buonamici family for the opportunity granted me, for my part I have every intention of repaying the trust given.”
