The Dutchman seems to have very clear ideas

Max Verstappen seems to have very clear ideas about his future, even regarding the date of his retirement. Speaking to ‘De Telegraaf,’ in fact, the Dutch driver admitted unabashedly, “In 2028 I might retire. By then I will have been in Formula 1 for a long time already.”

This is not a random date: at the end of 2028, in fact, Verstappen will see the agreement that binds him to Red Bull expire, and the idea of racing for other teams, at the moment, does not excite him: “Right now I would not like to drive for any other team,” he confirmed. “When you feel good and everything works, why change? Then it will also depend on whether I can drive a competitive car, and also on my ability to fight to win races and championships. I also can’t stand the idea of driving in the back of the pack, if that was the case I would prefer a different category.”
