Napoli breaks ground for Kalidou Koulibaly: the maxi offer
A move to rout out suitors.
Napoli is breaking the deadlock and playing its move to armor Kalidou Koulibaly. This can be clearly understood from the words spoken in Dimaro, home of the Azzurri’s training camp, by Ds Cristiano Giuntoli and coach Luciano Spalletti.
“We have offered Koulibaly a five-year contract, with six million euros net salary per season. There will be no additional bonuses, but a guaranteed managerial future,” Giuntoli explained at a press conference.
There was no shortage of further praise for Koulibaly: “We talk to him every day, because he is a boy who has always distinguished himself both on and off the field. This has allowed him to earn an incredible offer like this. He took some time to think about it, but I can say that no official offers have come from other clubs,” Giuntoli clarified.
Spalletti then went even further: “The club is preparing very important renewal proposals. We would like our players to stay, then for Koulibaly an extra-large captain’s armband is ready. Because the one that Insigne used for him is not enough,” the partenopei coach joked. And Juventus and the others, now, are likely to be displaced.
