Elena Rybakina is the new queen of Wimbledon. The Russian naturalized Kazakhstan tennis player beat Ons Jabeur in the final of the London slam.
Rybakina won in three sets in a comeback 3-6, 6-2, 6-2, shattering the Tunisian rival’s dreams.
It is the first success in a Slam for the Kazakh, world number 23 and initially given as an underdog against the Tunisian, who after a good start suffered her opponent’s serve, without finding adequate countermeasures.
