Ducati centaur Danilo Petrucci puts on a show in MotoAmerica
Battle in race 1 of the Laguna Seca round of the MotoAmerica championship. Ducati centaur Danilo Petrucci, fighting for second position with Cameron Petersen, on the last lap in a desperate attempt tried to surprise his opponent at the infamous Corkscrew, but Petersen cutting the inside of the corner managed to stay ahead.
It was a spectacular duel, reminiscent of the historic battle between Valentino Rossi and Casey Stoner. Petrucci thus finished in third place and saw his lead in the overall standings shrink further: Jake Gagne won and is now only 11 points behind the former MotoGp rider.
