F1, insults in the stands and celebrations over Hamilton’s crash: measures on the way

Fan case breaks out during the Formula 1 Austrian Grand Prix weekend. After the deafening roar that came from the stands at the Red Bull Ring immediately after Lewis Hamilton’s crash in Friday’s official practice, there were other unpleasant incidents that took place in the grandstands on Saturday, with insults, discriminatory behavior and insults towards some spectators.
The Fia in a statement wanted to condemn what happened: “We have received reports that some fans were subjected to completely unacceptable comments by others during the Austrian GP weekend.”
“We take these issues very seriously and have raised them with the event promoter and security. We will talk to those who reported the incidents. Such behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.”
