In an atmosphere of celebration that has lasted for two days now – the arrivals at JMedical of new signings Angel Di Maria and Paul Pogba have revitalized the Bianconeri people – Juventus gathered today at the Continassa for the official gathering ahead of the upcoming football season.

Arriving together with the newly acquired French player, Matthijs de Ligt was able to test on his skin what the fans think of him. In recent weeks, rumors have multiplied that the Dutchman is leaving: Chelsea, Manchester United – where he coaches his mentor, Erik ten Hag -, Manchester City and Bayern Munich, have opened the hunt for the former Ajax man. The possibility, for Juve, of getting a not bad little treasure from the transfer – there is talk of at least 75 million cases, a price below which the Bianconeri do not even sit at the negotiating table – entices the management.

The loyal Juventus fans, however, do not seem to like much the eventual departure of the central defender: “Stay with us” is in fact the most popular chorus the fans addressed to de Ligt upon his arrival at JMedical on Sunday morning. It is now up to Juve to make its choices, considering that the square has expressed its opinion.
