The No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft increasingly comfortable with the “big boys”
Banchero is proving he has what it takes to play in the NBA. The No. 1 pick of the last NBA Draft also starred in the challenge, valid for the NBA Summer League, between his Magic and the Kings.
After a good two overtimes, the success went right to Orlando (94-92 the final) with the young Italian talent who finished with no less than 23 points on the score sheet, in addition to six assists and as many rebounds (watch out, however, also for the eight turnovers). Day by day, Banchero is learning what it means to play on an NBA team. Summer League is helping him grow abruptly as he awaits the start of the regular season.
