Vlado Micov, emotional farewell to played basketball
Vlado Micov retires
Vlado Micov has announced his retirement from playing basketball.
The Serbian forward, admired in Italy wearing the undershirts of Cantù and Olimpia Milano, has said enough at age 37 after finishing his last season with Buducnost Podgorica.
“For the past 21 years I have had the privilege of making my job a game, of winning, losing, learning, overcoming limits and breaking my records after defeats. Each time it has been an honor, a privilege and a pleasure to step onto the court and play basketball. I have been fortunate to work side by side with some of the best coaches and players. After two decades, twelve clubs, eight cities and seven countries, I leave the game satisfied. I do not regret anything. With this last season, I have come full circle. Thank you to everyone who has been there with me in any way at any time,” the words with which Micov said goodbye to everyone.
