Banchero’s Summer League is already over. After the first two games (20-point average), the Orlando Magic, as reported by ESPN, have decided not to put the blue-collar player on the court again. Understanding his potential, the franchise decided to evaluate other profiles during the rest of Summer League.
“They suggested it would be better for me not to play anymore and I didn’t want to not listen to them. Summer League? Happy with how I played but I need to improve. Overall I think I did well,” the words of the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft. So to see Banchero in action again will have to wait for the NBA regular season.
