Suzuki and Dorna have reached an agreement, and thus the Japanese manufacturer’s farewell to MotoGp at the end of 2022 is official.
“We have decided to end our participation in MotoGp and the EWC in light of the need to reallocate resources to other initiatives concerning sustainability. Motorcycle racing has been a platform for us for technological innovations, including sustainability and human resource development. We will continue to give maximum support to Rins, Mir, and the team, with the goal of being competitive until the end of the season,” President Toshihiro Suzuki announced.
