Charles Leclerc’s points scored in the Austrian Grand Prix moved him back to second place in the world championship standings, 38 points behind Max Verstappen.
Ferrari’s Monegasque had finished second behind the Dutchman in Saturday’s Sprint, although he had reduced the Red Bull driver’s lead in the latter stages.
“Our pace has been strong in the last five races and I always believed in it. I looked swaggering on Saturday after the Sprint but I didn’t just talk like that. I really believed in it and it was good to show our strength on Sunday as well,” Charles recounted.
