Charles Leclerc expresses a new concern
Leclerc will try again
Charles Leclerc hopes to grant an encore in France. “An important victory came in Austria, especially on a personal level, after five difficult races,” said the Ferrarista. “We won and recovered some points. Let’s see how it will go here: in recent years the scenario has also been complicated at the level of tire management.”
“I started racing on a track not far from here. But I didn’t come to Le Castellet often before coming to Formula 1,” added the Monegasque.
Charles Marc Hervé Perceval Leclerc, that’s his full name, was born in Monaco on Oct. 16, 1997. He is the third driver from the Principality to have participated in the Formula 1 World Championship after Louis Chiron and Olivier Beretta, as well as the youngest ever to have won a Grand Prix driving a Ferrari single-seater. In 2019 he made his debut with the red car, taking Kimi Raikkonen’s place, and in March he hit his first career pole position, in Bahrain.
His first success with the Prancing Horse comes at the Spa circuit in Belgium on Sept. 1, 2019.
