We have reached the final day of competition at the ongoing Fencing World Cup 2022 in Cairo, Egypt.
And for Italy there was immediate disappointment. In fact, the saber girls were beaten in the quarterfinals of the team event by Hungary 45-43. Nothing to do so for Rossella Gregorio, Martina Criscio, Michela Battiston and Eloisa Passaro.
A balanced challenge that saw the decisive hits of the Hungarian Pustzai on 43 par. Heavy then the 11-1 partial suffered by Michela Battiston against Battai in the fourth assault.
