Filippo Ganna admits, “Difficult days.”
Filippo Ganna assures nothing
Filippo Ganna assures nothing ahead of Saturday’s time trial at the Tour de France. The first race against the clock in the 2022 Grande Boucle went the way it did, and it was a missed opportunity: the Piedmontese rider, by winning it, would have worn the legendary yellow jersey.
“They have been very tiring and difficult days, especially these last few days in the Pyrenees,” the Ineos Grenadiers rider told Gazzetta dello Sport. “I don’t feel 100 percent. The priority is to get to Paris and finish the Tour, and then finally rest. What comes, comes. I will be happy either way.”
