On the part of Virtus Bologna, the search for a wing to close out its roster continues. According to La Prealpina, the bianconero club is considering Daquan Jeffries, a 25-year-old American coming off a 2021/22 season in the G-League at the College Park Skyhawks but with NBA experience with the Kings, Rockets and Grizzlies.
The team coached by coach Sergio Scariolo last season saw the 2021 won scudetto slip away only in the playoff final, lost 4-2 to Olimpia Milano.
