F1, Helmut Marko sends a dig at Ferrari
Fourth engine in France for Sainz
Helmut Marko’s strong words are certainly no secret. And in the fight between Red Bull and Ferrari, the advisor to the world’s leading team wanted to send a dig at the Maranello Redhead.
In fact, Marko spoke about Ferrari’s reliability problems: “We have seen that there are problems with the Ferrari engines,” Marko told Auto, Motor und Sport on the weekend of the French GP, where Sainz will start from the last row for putting in the fourth engine. Then with these temperatures it would be risky to use them at full power for the whole race.”
“The Honda engine has no such problems, it gives us a constant and good performance,” Marko wanted to add. “Also from the point of view of reliability for us the situation is positive. We have no concerns about that.”
