Spezia, attack reinforcement arrives from Milan

Daniel Maldini ready to land in the Gulf

Daniel Maldini is the next reinforcement for the Luca Gotti-branded Spezia 2022/23 attack. According to reports from ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport,’ in fact, the AC Milan-owned striker, son of Paolo and nephew of Cesare, would be ready to apprdare in the Gulf on a dry loan, with return to base expected at the end of the season.

Maldini, interestingly enough, scored his first and so far only goal in Serie A precisely against Spezia: it happened last September 25, when the striker signed the goal of the momentary 1-0 Rossoneri lead at the ‘Picco’ (the match later ended 2-1 for Milan).

The idea behind the loan move is to ensure more minutes on the field for Daniel Maldini, who has not been able to carve out much space for himself at AC Milan, given the ample competition in the offensive department.
