F1, Ferrari dilemma: “Carlos Sainz more leader than Charles Leclerc”
Former world champion Damon Hill confident about hierarchy at Ferrari: “Sainz is more familiar with strategies than Leclerc”
Former Formula 1 world champion Damon Hill in an interview with Sky Sports had his say on the as-yet-undefined driver hierarchy at Ferrari: according to the former British driver, Carlos Sainz has proven to be more of a leader than Charles Leclerc. “He has impressed me more as a leader, he seems to be more familiar with strategies, he makes decisions with more ease.”
According to Hill, the World Championship is not over yet after Leclerc’s latest mistake: “Ferrari’s potential is huge, and if they can solve the problems they will still be a threat to Max Verstappen. The World Championship can still close with a minimal lead.”
