The words of Dusan Vlahovic

“Team goals come before personal ones, it’s more important for Juve to win, but if I score 30 goals and we become Italian champions that’s perfectly fine with me.”

These are the goals of Dusan Vlahovic, interviewed by Gazzetta dello Sport.

“When I was growing up in Serbia we used to follow Italian soccer a lot, in the golden years of Serie A. People used to talk about Juve, because they always won, and in sports you only remember who wins. This has stayed with me. I was a child when I was impressed by the Juve of Ibrahimovic, Trezeguet and Cannavaro. I grew up with the goal of becoming a winner, and I will do everything I can to make Juve history. It would be a great honor given the players who have succeeded here. That’s why I started playing: I want to push myself beyond my limits.”

Pogba likes to give nicknames, and it’s fine with me if he likes it. I only knew him from TV, he had a big impact on the team, he is a world champion who has already won so much in his years at Juve, besides the Europa League with Manchester United. It’s good to have him with us. Di Maria? When I heard he was coming I immediately thought about how many goals and assists we can score together, because I also want him to score. Angel has been playing for a long time at a very high level, he is one of the strongest outfielders of the last 20 years and has done very well wherever he has gone. Until recently I saw these champions on TV, playing with them was my goal when I was a kid. With Di Maria we have to get to know each other and understand each other a little bit, but I’m sure it won’t be difficult for him. He’s played with great strikers, I’m the one who has to ask him how I have to move so he can find me. Bremer? It is a great pleasure to have him at Juve, he is the strongest defender in A. After a season in which we did not win anything our duty is to have the goal of winning everything.”
