Rafa Nadal, the secrets of a top 2022: his confession

For Rafa Nadal, 2022 is turning out to be a sensational year, as evidenced by winning his first two majors of the season: the Australian Open and at Roland Garros. A trail of successes even more significant considering his age (36) and the physical problems of the previous year. But the Mallorcan wanted to share some of the secrets that have allowed him to remain at the top of world tennis after so many years of his career.

“I’m not used to giving advice. But I always repeat that if you want to become a professional or dedicate your whole life to something, you have to put everything else aside,” explained Nadal, during an event organized by the Spanish company ‘Iberia.’ For me, the top priority has always been my career. This, however, has never prevented me from hanging out with my friends and having fun with them.”

“I do all the activities of people my age. The difference is that I do it a little less often. I advise kids not to give up having fun, but to strive to achieve what they dream of. And to hang out with the right companies,” Nadal concluded.
