Alcaraz flies to the semifinals
Carlos Alcaraz easily reached the semifinals of the ATP 250 in Umag, crushing his opponent, Facundo Bagnis, number 120 in the ATP rankings. The match ended with a score of 6-0, 6-4 in favor of the Spaniard.
The match was immediately channeled in the direction of Carlitos, who got the break in the opening game and went on a streak of eight consecutive games, up to 6-0, 2-0. Here, the Argentine tennis player broke free, but Alcaraz kept the break lead until the final 6-4.
Now the talented young Iberian, who just became No. 5 in the world, will face in the semifinals the surprise Giulio Zeppieri, who overcame Zapata Miralles with a score of 6-4, 7-5.
