F1, Fernando Alonso does not want to follow Sebastian Vettel
German champion’s farewell still causes debate
Vettel has decided to retire from Formula 1. The German driver has realized that the time has come to say enough and think about something else. Alonso, born in 1981 (six years younger than Vettel) has no intention of following in the footsteps of the four-time World Champion.
“Retirement is not a short-term option. My mind is on the piece, I feel in great shape. Next year will be the second with these new single-seaters, there will be Las Vegas and, this season, I feel fast,” the Asturian’s words reported by Marca. In short, Alonso wants to continue racing in F1 for a long time to come. Retirement is not contemplated.
