Lillo challenges Matteo Berrettini: the tennis player’s response

Lillo Petrolo issued the challenge to Berrettini via Instagram.

Currently stopped as a precautionary measure in view of the busy American tour on concrete, Matteo Berrettini found time to make his fans smile with a funny skit staged on Instagram. It all started thanks to the comic verve of Lillo Petrolo, the Roman actor already the protagonist of hilarious sketches enacted in the program ‘Lol – Chi ridere è fuori’ and not only.

“I’ve been told you play both padel and tennis well, so if you feel like it we can have a good game,” Lillo pressed on his profile. “In padel I am really strong, however in tennis we can play it, so I accept the challenge. Tell me where and when,” Berrettini’s nice reply.

Matteo Berrettini, nicknamed “The Hammer” on the ATP circuit because of the supersonic power of his serve and forehand strokes, is an Italian tennis player, born in Rome on April 12, 1996. He decided to go all in on tennis thanks to the valuable advice of his younger brother Jacopo, also a tennis player. At the age of 14 he switched to training at the Canottieri Aniene club, led by Vincenzo Santopadre, who is still his coach.
