Carlos Alcaraz seeks rematch against Jannik Sinner after Wimbledon loss
Carlos Alcaraz will face Jannik Sinner in the final of the tournament in Umag, Croatia. The Spanish tennis player, who will have a chance to get revenge against the Azzurro after the Wimbledon defeat, commented on his landing in the final as follows, “Great to be in the final again. I like playing here, on this beautiful court. I am happy with the victory.”
During the match against Zeppieri there were moments of apprehension for the Spaniard, who moved badly on an ankle: “The ankle I don’t feel it too much now, let’s see tonight or Sunday morning. Now is not the time to think about something wrong as I am in the final. It will be great if the 100th match at ATP level is a win.”
Alcaraz from Monday will be world No. 4: “It will be great to be No. 4 on Monday, I want to try to be the player who won the most matches in the year.”
